The staff is very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, close to the railway station and a short walk to the central part of the city and old town. the room, although small, was clean. Complimentary bottle of water provided daily.
Felt safe, nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the home made yoghurt they served every morning. The room was clean and the bathroom was renovated and there was a bath tub in it. The room was quite spacious. The location of the Hotel is quite alright, very close to Hbf and the Altstadt area was also in walking distance from the Hotel.
The beds were a little too soft for our taste and the pillows were a little big, too. However, I would not say it spoiled our holiday in any way.

The hotel staff was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The free transportation pass for the entire region was a huge money-saver and made exploring neighboring towns easy. The hotel was spotlessly clean, had a great breakfast, and the kitchen staff was excellent. The location was convenient, with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants nearby.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Good location in Duesseldorf not far from shopping area. Good breakfast.
Internal insolation against noise not so good! Very high price but it was during an "exhibition" week so all hotels apply very, very high rate!

The room was very small, and for me and my family I didnt get any help with bags they just were looking without even replying to my request for help....

The staff were absolutely amazing - super kind, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful! We were blown away by the pass we received upon check-in, which covered transportation for the entire region. The hotel was spotlessly clean, had a delicious breakfast, and our room was comfortable with plenty of space and light. The location was ideal, with supermarkets, shops, and Asian restaurants nearby. The train station was just a stone's throw away, and trams, metro, and buses were easily accessible. Thank you to the hotel staff for an unforgettable trip!

Location was fine. Quite central and short walk to Konigsallee
Old, smelly, very basic, no free wifi...... wouldn't have stayed there had I known what I was going to stay.....

Breakfast was very good and quite an easy access to the city + metro just around the corner. Good and cheap japanese restaurant next to the hotel
Internetcodes did not work, night staff did not speak english, the room on the 5th floor was staright from the 80's.... there were not even a curtain in the shower. Toilet was missing a door..... and the carpet really dirty... No aircon. Price during the exhibition per room was very high compared what you got... the elevator takes you only to the 4th floor and there is no bellboy service - you need to carry your own luggage to the 5th floor...

I recently stayed at City Hotel for two nights during my vacation in Dusseldorf. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short 6-minute walk to the main train station and 15 minutes to downtown. The room, although small, was comfortable and the staff at reception were incredibly kind, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and was a great way to start the day.
